It's special living adjacent to the river and amongst the beautiful, old and majestic trees that surround Ardachy House and Ardachy Riverside. The downside is the month of daily raking to remove the leaves! Ah well, the leaf mould bin is getting fuller by the day - free organic compost!!

Skye and myself again enjoying the last sun of the day. Has been sunny, dry and low single figure temperatures all day - bird bath is still frozen. Three days of heavy rain forecast for later this evening and onwards. Was a beautifully clear night for stargazing and the temperature dipped to -3°C.

Skye, myself and some Blue Faced Leicester sheep enjoying the last of the afternoon sun. Dropped to -3°C overnight and forecast for chilly overnight tonight as well!

Finally got round to ordering the name plate!!

Hi folks, not been feeling well the last few days, GP says it's probably Covid. Been trying to get a test kit - rarer than rocking horse s**t up here. Can't find a pharmacy that has any, two even indicated they were no longer able to order them in!
Hospital has them but you can only access it if you go through A&E! What a waste of time and resources!!!
In the meantime making a VAT of curried parsnip soup - hopefully that'll help kill some of whatever it is off!!!!
