DASH Services

Back in 2022, we were chosen by the Government to pilot the Supported Housing Improvement Programme (SHIP), aimed at helping people living in supported accommodation make sure they are getting the right support and the services they pay for.

After proving a success, last year we were able to secure funding to continue the work we’ve done, working with tenants and landlords alike to improve standards.

One topic keeps coming up in conversations with landlords & agents at the moment... the new national "Register Your Rental Property" database !

At DASH Services, we're receiving more questions about this than almost anything else right now. What information will need to be provided? Who needs to register? How will it work in practice? And what does it mean for landlords and letting agents?

That's why we're delighted that representatives from Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) will be joining us at the DASH Services East Midlands Housing Conference 2026 to give a live demonstration of the new system and answer your questions directly.

· See the database in action

· Hear the latest information from the team behind it

· Get answers to your questions first-hand

· Understand what you need to do before the launch

We're really pleased to say Mattressman are re-joining us at the East Midlands 2026 Housing Conference this Tuesday 20th October, at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.

Mattressman were with us last year and are back again, so it's fair to say the feeling was mutual. They're an NRLA - National Residential Landlords Association recognised supplier specialising in contract mattresses for landlords — with exclusive Landlord, Leisure and Hotel Pocket ranges built to meet flammability standards, flexible zip-and-link options and over 20,000 contract customers supplied nationwide. If you've ever wondered what actually goes into furnishing a rental property properly, their stand is well worth a visit.

Pop over and say hello to Darren Barker on the day.
Tickets are just £10, including refreshments and snacks - book yours here https://forms.cloud.microsoft/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=IuY6DQY3LEKKaZK4USX8ToIAoAS--JhFu9jwALBMtyxUQzJPVkY3VFUwNzBSOFBQMzFBMDdWSjRMUy4u

Doors open at 09:00 for networking and time on the exhibitors' stands, with the conference itself running 10:00 to 16:00.

It’s back… and this year we’re talking about what’s REALLY happening in the PRS.

Six months on from the Renters’ Rights Act coming into force, what has it actually meant in practice for landlords, agents and housing professionals?

On Tuesday 20th October, DASH Services are bringing everyone together at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham for the DASH Services's Housing Conference 2026.

Expect expert speakers (cough cough yep the amazing David Smith AND Suzanne Smith), practical workshops, exhibitors, plenty of networking and, most importantly, information you can actually take away and use.

And all for just £10.

Last year we were oversubscribed, so if you’re thinking about coming, I wouldn’t leave it too long!

Have a little watch of the video and come and join us.

I'm delighted to welcome back Unipol Student Homes - Nottingham who are supporting DASH Services' East Midlands 2026 Housing Conference once again!

A national student housing charity established in 1975, Unipol works to raise standards and professionalism across the sector. Through their accreditation Codes, Unipol supports landlords and letting agents in providing safe, well-managed student housing, alongside their long-standing partnerships with universities in Leeds, Nottingham and Bradford.

Unipol's team will be joining us on the day and taking their place in one of our afternoon workshops: Student Landlords: Six Months In - How Bad Is It Really? In the workshops they will sit alongside Irving Hill, founder of Sulets and Rich Dawson one of our DASH landlords, to answer questions directly - a brilliant chance to get practical, sector-specific guidance straight from the experts. Together they will present a practical update on how the Act is impacting student landlords in reality. What's working, what's not and what have student landlords learnt so far? They'll share honest experiences, key challenges and the most effective survival strategies.
