🔥 THREE BUSINESSES. ONE PASSION. A SERIOUS AMOUNT OF KNOWLEDGE UNDER ONE ROOF. 🔥
What a session we’ve just had down at NRP, bringing together NRP, Smart Coat UK and GLM Surfaces Academy — three businesses with different areas of expertise, all coming together with one goal:
👉 RAISING THE STANDARD OF PROFESSIONAL SPRAYING & SURFACE FINISHING.
🎨 BRAY FROM NRP
When it comes to paint, mixing, tinting and spraying, Bray is an absolute master of his trade. 💯
There’s not much this man doesn’t know about coatings, colours, tints, products, paint systems and getting that finish absolutely bang on. 👌🔥
For this session, we got to put some serious kit and materials through their paces:
🔫 SATAjet X – SINNEK Limited Edition spray gun
📟 Separate digital pressure reader — used alongside the spray gun to accurately monitor and dial in our spraying pressure, helping us get the gun set up exactly where we want it.
🥤 SATA RPS 0.6L disposable cup system — clean, quick and ideal for professional mixing and spraying.
🎨 SINNEK W6000 Line water-based paint system
🔴🔵⚪ Red, blue and white colours, mixed and tinted to create the finish you see in the video.
But we've got to give another man his flowers as well… 😂👇
🔥 GAVIN FROM GLM SURFACES 🔥
Gavin brings another level of knowledge to this collaboration.
When you start talking about decorative surface finishes, stone effects, textures, specialist techniques and liquid metals, this man's knowledge is unbelievable. 👏
From understanding how different materials behave, through to building layers, creating realistic stone effects, working with liquid metals and knowing the techniques needed to turn an ordinary surface into something completely unique — Gavin's knowledge seems endless.
He’s spent years developing and perfecting these techniques, and having that experience available inside GLM Surfaces Academy is massive for what we're building.
So Bray… you've got the paints, colours and tints covered.
Gavin… you've got the stone, specialist finishes and liquid metals covered.
And Smart Coat UK will keep bringing the real-world spraying and on-site experience. 😂🔫🔥
THAT is what makes this collaboration so exciting.
🤝 .R.P ltd — products, materials, paint systems, colour knowledge and serious technical expertise.
🔫 Smart Coat UK — years of real-world spraying, preparation, application and on-site experience.
🎓 GLM Surfaces Academy & Gavin — specialist surface finishes, stone effects, liquid metals, decorative techniques and the facility where all this knowledge can be brought together and passed on.
We're not interested in simply teaching somebody how to pick up a spray gun and pull the trigger.
WE WANT PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND WHY THEY'RE DOING IT.
From understanding paint systems, mixing and tinting, right through to pressure, gun setup and application — and then opening people's eyes to completely different areas such as stone effects, specialist coatings and liquid metals.
It's about learning the complete process properly and showing people just how many opportunities there are within this industry.
Massive respect to Bray and the whole NRP team for their continued support — and massive respect to Gavin at GLM Surfaces for the knowledge, experience and specialist skills he brings to the table. 💯🤝
🔥 THIS is the level of equipment, products, experience, specialist knowledge and industry support we're bringing into our training. 🔥
If you've been thinking about learning professional spraying, changing careers, adding another service to your existing business or getting into specialist decorative finishes — this is exactly what we're building the Academy for.
