A post we hoped we wouldn’t have to write. 💔
Townhouse is now up for sale.
We put our heart and soul into this place. Fifteen months of our lives bringing it up to the standard we dreamed of—most weeks working seven days out of seven. We invested our life savings, all our spare time and so much hope for our family’s future.
But what made it truly special was seeing what it meant to other people.
Golden wedding anniversaries. Grandparents celebrating their 70th birthdays. Larger families coming together under one roof. Charities and their guests enjoying precious time away. Memories made that will last a lifetime.
We’re incredibly grateful that we could provide the space for those moments.
Seeing Townhouse go up for sale is heartbreaking. We’re sad, we’re angry, and we’re left significantly out of pocket. Behind this listing is a family that is suffering, after pouring so much into a future that now looks very different from the one we planned.
There is more to our story than we can share publicly at the moment. We believe the truth will prevail, and when the time is right, we hope to tell our story fully. For now, we’re trying to find a way forward as a family.
We’re also deeply sorry for the knock-on effect on the people whose work depended on Townhouse, and the local businesses we supported. This reaches beyond our own front door.
Despite everything, we remain proud of what we created and thankful to everyone who helped make it possible.
Thank you to those that are aware and have supported us during the period of uncertainty. We are humbled to have such caring, understanding people in our lives and the kindness shown from our lovely guests has been truly heartwarming 💙
