One last spin! This is our final post about the Palace to Palace Cycle Challenge. It’s fair to say James, Howard and Gordon had an absolute blast!
We hope this video round-up captures some of the fun, the atmosphere and maybe just a little of the pain along the way. The bikes are back, the lycra has been put away and the legs are hopefully recovering!
More importantly, a huge thank you to everyone who supported the team and helped raise more than £4,000 for The King's Trust. Your generosity will help support young people to build their confidence, develop skills and create brighter futures. A fantastic challenge for a brilliant cause and who knows, the boys might even be tempted to get back in the saddle again eventually!

50 miles / 3 directors / £4,000+ raised / Challenge complete 🚴‍♂️

Our team of James Barrack, Howard Crawshaw and Gordon Middleton crossed the finish line at the cycle challenge in London yesterday, raising more than £4,000 for The King's Trust. After weeks of training and plenty of miles in the saddle, the team made it from The Mall to Battersea Park, with only a few complaints about the legs along the way. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported us. And with the challenge complete, the bikes are back in the shed and thankfully, the lycra has been put away too!!

The team are cramming in their final training sessions before the big event in London this weekend. James and Howard managed to combine business with training, building in a development site visit to The Hub at Kingshill Park in Westhill, where they caught up with Graeme Milne from MTM Construction Ltd. Meanwhile, Gordon has been taking a slightly more indoor approach to his training, putting the miles in on his exercise bike.
All three are now ready to take on the 50-mile cycle challenge this Sunday, 4 October, in aid of The King's Trust. We’d love to smash our fundraising target even further, so there’s still time to support the team. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference. Board on the Road: It is always valuable to see projects first-hand and witness the progress being made across the portfolio. So Tuesday’s board meeting took a slightly different format, with the team swapping the boardroom for a tour of some of our ongoing refurbishment projects across Scotland’s Central Belt. The day began at our recently acquired Big Blue Shed in , before heading east to to inspect progress at projects, Atholl Exchange and 110 George Street.

Not every training ride is a bag of laughs. Our MD Howard Crawshaw discovered that the hard way on Sunday, battling gusty winds and some less-than-friendly cycling conditions. For anyone who knows Howard, you'll appreciate just how bad it was . . . his trademark smile was replaced by a frown.
Thankfully, a bit of Aberdeen weather wasn't enough to stop him completing another training session for The King's Trust Palace to Palace charity cycle, which he's taking on alongside James Barrack and Gordon Middleton next month in London. The miles are adding up, the fitness is improving and there is still time to donate via: https://events.kingstrust.org.uk/fundraiser/knightpropertygroup

The King's Trust

When it comes to meetings, pitches and new challenges, our Founder and Chairman, James Barrack, is definitely not a 'turn up and wing it' kind of guy. The same applies to next month's The King's Trust Palace to Palace charity cycle. While some might be enjoying a well-earned coffee break, James is putting in the effort and training ahead of the 50-mile challenge, which he'll be taking on alongside Howard Crawshaw and Gordon Middleton.

The countdown is on, the lycra is ready and the Knight team is gearing up for a fantastic day in support of a truly worthwhile cause. A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated. We'd love to smash our fundraising target even further before the team heads to London. Donations can still be made here: https://events.kingstrust.org.uk/fundraiser/knightpropertygroup

It was a pleasure to welcome Aberdeen's top letting agents last week for a tour of two of our speculative industrial developments – The Hub at Kingshill Park and Plot 9 at Kingshill Commercial Park in Westhill.

The visit provided an opportunity to see the excellent progress being made, while also showcasing the quality of the developments. With construction progressing well, both developments remain on track to deliver modern, sustainable accommodation designed to meet the evolving needs of occupiers across a range of sectors in the Aberdeen market.
Thank you to everyone who attended. Interested parties should contact our agents Savills, Ryden and Graham + Sibbald

We have now completed the demolition phase at Axis @ Hillington, our six-acre site at 55 Carnegie Road, Hillington Park, which we acquired earlier this year. The transformation is now well underway, with the site set to deliver a high-quality industrial and logistics development comprising units ranging from 22,000 sq ft to 110,000 sq ft. This exciting new scheme will provide much-needed modern accommodation in one of Scotland's premier business locations. Stay tuned for further updates, or speak to our agents, Ryden and Graham + Sibbald, to find out more.
