Buying in Marbella? The mistake is budgeting only for the price. 💶

The asking price is not the final number. On top of it you’ll pay transfer tax or VAT plus stamp duty, notary, land registry, lawyer and, if you need one, the mortgage costs. On a two-million-euro villa, that’s a serious amount.

Before you fall in love with a house, ask your agent for the full cost sheet, not just the price.
