Do you know why this development is called Tyrian?

Well during the initial excavations and construction of this ultra-luxury beachfront project, archaeologists uncovered significant historical remains beneath the surface. The findings revealed that the land was once a thriving Roman village involved in the production of Tyrian Purple. This highly prized imperial dye required thousands of harvested marine shells to produce just a single gram, serving as an ancient symbol of wealth and power across the Mediterranean!

Genuine Tyrian purple is still available today, but it remains extremely rare and costs thousands of dollars per gram.
