Buying property in Marbella in 2027? 🇪🇸 A proposed change to Andalusia Property Transfer Tax (ITP) could make buying a resale property in Spain slightly cheaper, with the general ITP rate proposed to fall from 7% to 6.75% from 1 January 2027. If approved, potential savings range from €750 on €300K to €5,000 on €2M — but 6.75% is not law yet and still needs approval and publication in the BOJA.

For international buyers considering Marbella real estate, Costa del Sol property or a property investment in Spain, this is an important property tax update to keep in mind.
