💫💫💫 Rural Conecta 2026 is here! 💚🌿 (3rd Edition)💫💫💫

We’re delighted to announce the start of a new edition of this annual gathering, which continues to grow year after year.

This year, its purpose is clear: to give rural communities a voice, bring people together and create stronger, more connected communities in our villages.

From 30th September to 3rd October, Castillo de Locubín will become a meeting place for people with ideas, projects and experiences, and for everyone who believes in creating a future in our rural areas.

‘Rural Voices: Community Empowerment’ is much more than a programme of events. It’s an opportunity to come together, listen, share ideas and celebrate everything that is already happening in our rural communities.

💜 A VERY SPECIAL EVENING IN CASTILLO DE LOCUBÍN 💜

This evening, Our Father Jesus the Nazarene passed in front of my house, and I was lucky enough to be able to record this special moment from my balcony. 🙏💜

When the statue stopped a little further up the street, our beloved Castillo de Locubín Band also stopped just before reaching the level of my balcony, giving me the perfect position to enjoy and record their beautiful processional music. 🥁🎺🎶

And, of course, Sunrise also wanted to do his bit… 😂🐶🎶

With the ground-floor window open, he started barking in time with the music, providing his own very special accompaniment to the band! 🤣🐕🥁🎺

So this video has a little bit of everything: faith, music, emotion… and the spontaneity of everyday life at home during such a special evening. ❤️

💜 UNA NOCHE MUY ESPECIAL EN CASTILLO DE LOCUBÍN 💜

Esta noche, Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno ha pasado por delante de mi casa y he tenido la suerte de poder grabar este momento desde mi balcón. 🙏💜

Cuando la imagen se ha detenido un poco más arriba, nuestra querida Banda de Música de Castillo de Locubín también se ha parado justo antes de llegar a la altura de mi balcón, regalándome una posición perfecta para disfrutar y grabar sus marchas procesionales. 🥁🎺🎶

Y, como no podía ser de otra manera, Sunrise también ha querido poner su granito de arena… 😂🐶🎶

Con la ventana de la planta baja abierta, ha empezado a ladrar al ritmo de la música, poniendo su particular acompañamiento a la banda. 🤣🐕🥁🎺

Así que este vídeo tiene un poquito de todo: devoción, música, emoción… y la espontaneidad de la vida en casa durante una noche tan especial. ❤️

💜 Fe, tradición, música y momentos que se quedan en el recuerdo.

¡Y de vuelta a casa! 🎭🎶 Los Cabezudos se recogían ayer después de tener a niños y mayores dando vueltas al ritmo de la música. 😂❤️ ¡Menudo ambiente! Los peques disfrutando de lo lindo y los padres… intentando seguirles el ritmo. 🤣🎉 ¡Así da gusto vivir nuestras fiestas!

And back home they went! 🎭🎶 The Cabezudos were making their way back yesterday after having both children and grown-ups dancing along to the music. 😂❤️ What a fantastic atmosphere! The little ones were having an absolute ball and the parents… trying their best to keep up with them! 🤣🎉 This is what our local fiestas are all about!

Another year, and our beloved Cabezudos are back out on the streets to let us know that… the Feria de Castillo is finally here!!! 🎺💃🕺🎉

Because there are some traditions that should never be lost, and moments that, year after year, still bring a smile to our faces. ❤️
