🏗️ Demolition has started!

After almost a year of planning and preparation, it was great to be on site this morning and finally see the demolition getting underway on this villa project in Mijas. 🚧

I've been working alongside the client since the early stages, acting as their independent Owner’s Representative. Along the way, we've been through construction quotations, budgets, technical solutions, meetings with the architect and contractor, contract reviews and plenty of decisions.

It's been a long process to get to this point, so it's really good to see things moving on site!

My involvement doesn't stop here. I'll continue representing the client throughout the construction, keeping an eye on progress, quality and costs, and helping with the decisions that come up along the way.

Looking forward to seeing the new villa take shape and continuing the good collaboration with everyone involved. 🤝

Before the music starts.

A different setting for today’s work: a nightclub on the Costa del Sol.

The assessment identified signs of moisture, corrosion and staining above suspended ceilings. Thermal imaging and targeted moisture measurements helped investigate the affected areas.

The aim was to give the buyer a clearer understanding of the property’s condition, the significance of the findings and where further investigation may be needed.
