⚠️ Boring real estate reel. I did warn you. 😂

Did home prices drop in Durham Region in October 2026? Yep. The average selling price fell to $787,508, down 5.1% from September and 7.5% from last October.

Meanwhile, 582 homes sold. That’s 10.9% more than in September, but 18.6% fewer than in October 2025. Homes that sold spent an average of 31 days on the market.

And before anyone applies that $787,508 to their own house… a detached in Bowmanville and a condo in Pickering are two very different conversations.

Apparently, a PA Day with your Realtor mom isn’t quite the day off Riley had in mind. 😂🏡

She thought we were spending some quality mother daughter time together. I said we were just running a few errands.

Apparently, she’s learned that when I say “a few errands,” there’s a very good chance those errands involve real estate. 🤣

A few houses, a lawyer’s office, maybe a quick stop at Staples… you know, just your average day!

The truth is, when you’re a Realtor working in Durham Region, real estate has a funny way of sneaking into just about everything. Whether I’m helping someone buy their first home in Bowmanville, preparing a property for sale in Courtice, or working with clients in Oshawa and throughout Clarington, there’s always something happening.

And apparently, Riley has decided she’s my unpaid assistant. 😂

Don’t worry, kiddo. I’ll buy you lunch. Maybe. 🤣❤️

Anyone else have kids who think working with Mom should come with a paycheque?

The problem with rural showings this time of year? I’m supposed to be helping someone else find a place, and meanwhile I’m mentally moving up here myself. 😂🍂

Headed north for showings today, and honestly… these backroads, the fall colours, a little room to breathe. Gets me every damn time.

There’s something about showing country properties in the fall that makes the drive feel a whole lot less like work. A little more space, a little more quiet, and a whole lot less hustle and bustle. Yep, I could get used to this.

One day I want a little piece of it. Somewhere I can drink my coffee, enjoy the view, and nobody needs anything from me for at least ten minutes. Let me dream. 😂

When your daughter plays rep hockey for the Clarington Flames and you happen to own a real estate business… becoming a team sponsor seems like a pretty easy decision! 😂

Okay, maybe I’m a LITTLE biased.

But seriously, I’m so proud that Moffatt Homes Real Estate is sponsoring the Clarington Flames this hockey season! 🔥🏒

As a hockey mom, I see firsthand the dedication, hard work, early mornings, late nights and commitment that go into playing competitive girls’ hockey.

And let’s not forget the parents running on coffee, arena fries and whatever sleep they can get! 😂☕

But beyond the hockey, it’s about something even bigger.
