🥹🏆 Okayyy, Q3 is in the books and I was pleasantly surprised by my email stating I had an achievement. When you do something you love you don’t keep track of the progress you simply keep going… so I lost track but was blown away and reminded why I do it!! 💪

Q3 Outstanding Achievement Award with Century 21 Canada, and honestly, I’m so grateful cuz LORDDD KNOWSSS what this year entailed….. 🙃 so now we’re just going to need to make that fourth one happen too in order to have 4/4 in the books 😂🙏🏽 we’ve come this far, right?! Next up Century 21 Awards Gala (Manifestation been loading)

Real estate has NOT been for the weak lately. Between the market constantly changing, costs of running a business and the number of agents choosing not to renew their licences, it’s definitely been an interesting time to be in this industry. But here I am 👋

can’t control the market, but I can control how to show up in it while I adapt, re-strategize, get creative and most importantly, continue to take care of the people who trust me!! And that’s exactly what I plan to keep doing

📣 BANK OF CANADA RATE UPDATE 🇨🇦

The Bank of Canada has announced a 0.25 percentage-point increase, bringing the overnight policy rate to 2.50%, effective October 29.

🏦 What does this mean for homeowners and buyers?

🏡 Variable-rate mortgages: Most lenders are expected to increase their prime rates by 0.25%, from 4.45% to 4.70%. For borrowers with adjustable-payment mortgages, payments may increase. If you have a fixed-payment variable mortgage, your payment may stay the same, but more of it will go toward interest and less toward paying down your principal.

🔑 Fixed mortgage rates: These are influenced by Government of Canada bond yields rather than directly tracking the overnight rate. That means fixed rates don’t necessarily rise by the same amount following a Bank of Canada announcement.

📋 Planning to buy? If you have a mortgage pre-approval, check the expiry date with your lender. Rate holds vary by lender and product, so make sure yours is still valid before submitting an offer.

💡 An interesting fact: The Bank of Canada has eight scheduled interest rate announcement dates each year. Its next announcement is December 9, 2026

I’m a BIG believer in open houses. 🏡

Yes, people can see everything online… but there’s just something different about actually walking through a home and getting a feel for it.

And honestly, they’re even more fun when you get to do them with other business professionals! 🙌🏼 I get to co-host with my cousin and Mortage partner 𝐾𝑜𝓃𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓃𝓉𝒾𝓃𝒶 𝐾𝒶𝓇𝓇𝒶𝓈 🧿🫶🏼✨ which is that much more fun 🤩

I always love co-hosting my open houses with my mortgage agent partner and other realtors who have a similar love for open houses 🏠🥂

More exposure, more conversations, more opportunities… and a little more fun along the way. ❤️
