A project rooted in community, compassion, and care. ❤️

We are proud to share that construction of the Order of Malta Healthcare Clinic at Good Shepherd Ministries is officially complete!

What was once a small medical clinic has been transformed into more than 2,000 square feet of space dedicated to providing essential healthcare services to some of Toronto’s most vulnerable community members.

From our first visit to Good Shepherd, where we had the opportunity to meet the people who rely on its services, to the final stages of construction, this project has been a meaningful reminder of the impact that thoughtful spaces can have on people’s lives.

We are incredibly grateful to the Order of Malta Canadian Association for entrusting Cardea Homes with this important project, and to Good Shepherd Ministries for the incredible work they do every day to support our community.

A special thank you to our valued trade and design partners, Design Loading, Spike Onsite Solutions, Torino Drywall, Design X, and Newcomb Design, whose contributions helped bring this project to life.

At Cardea, we believe building wellness into everyday living extends beyond the homes we create. It’s about contributing to healthier, stronger communities, and we’re honoured to have played a part in making this space a reality.

Construction has been moving along at the Good Shepherd Ministries, where we’re working on behalf of the Order of Malta Canadian Association to help bring the new Healthcare Clinic to life.

The drywall is officially complete, taped, mudded and sanded. Next up, we’ll be applying the first coat of paint and installing the ceiling tiles, doors and flooring.

Good Shepherd Ministries provides essential meals, shelter and support services to some of Toronto’s most vulnerable residents, and this new clinic will help expand access to on-site healthcare.
