This photo was taken by my beautiful youngest sister when she came to visit me two years ago.
At the time, I was living through one of the most difficult periods of chronic pain. Before heading out for a walk in my neighbourhood, I got dressed in some of her clothes. It was a small comfort that made me feel close to her when she was far away.
When people look at this photo, they might see a woman enjoying a beautiful day, smiling, peaceful, confident, and full of life.
What they don’t see is the pain that was there before the photo was taken, the pain that remained after the camera was put away, and the daily commitment it takes to keep moving forward.
My chronic pain hasn’t gone away. What has changed is the way I live with it.
It hasn’t changed my commitment to my clients. Throughout my real estate career, I have always shown up with professionalism, care, integrity, and my undivided attention. Every client deserves to feel heard, supported, and valued, and that has never changed.
What chronic pain has changed is the way I value myself. It has taught me to listen to my body, honour my limits, celebrate small victories, and extend the same compassion to myself that I have so freely given to others. It has deepened my resilience, strengthened my gratitude, and reminded me that true strength isn’t about pretending everything is okay, it’s about continuing to move forward with authenticity and grace.
Life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect, but I believe it happens for us. Learning to embrace who we are, honour where we are today, and trust where we’re heading helps us keep moving in the right direction.
If you know someone preparing for a new chapter, buying, selling, downsizing, upsizing, or relocating, I would be honoured if you kept me in mind. I bring not only decades of experience and knowledge, but also genuine care, thoughtful guidance, and wholehearted commitment to every client I serve. With love and gratitude always ❤️🙌🙏❤️
