🏡 Stronger mortgage protections for B.C. consumers!

Effective October 13, 2026, B.C.’s new Mortgage Services Act replaces the Mortgage Brokers Act. Key changes include:

✅ Improved disclosure requirements for greater transparency(this means A LOT more forms for you to sign).
✅ Higher standards for assessing whether a mortgage suits a client’s needs.
✅ Stronger regulatory oversight and enforcement.
✅ Updated licensing and education requirements for mortgage professionals.
