After more than a year of searching, waiting, watching the market and being patient for the right home to come along, yesterday I finally got to hand over keys to their new home!

Sometimes timing really is everything. The shifts in the market ended up working in their favour, and instead of rushing into something that wasn’t quite right, we waited until the right home and the right opportunity came together.

And I’m pretty sure the dogs approved too. Watching them excitedly run through the door and explore their new home might have been my favourite part of possession day.

I truly loved working with these two! We spent a lot of time together over the past year, toured a lot of homes, had plenty of conversations, and stayed patient through it all. I’m going to miss our house-hunting adventures, but I have a feeling this won’t be goodbye.

It finally arrived! 🤍 You Can Do Beautiful Things by Galey Alix Galey Alix and I couldn’t be more excited to dive in.

I’ve been following Galey since day one, and I’ve loved watching her journey. She has such a gift for creating warm, layered spaces that feel both beautiful and livable. I even have several of her products in my own home, including her gorgeous peel-and-stick wallpaper that I absolutely love.

Beyond her incredible design talent, I appreciate how openly she shares both the highs and the hard moments. Her transformations are always jaw-droppingly beautiful, and her signature mix of wood, texture, and timeless style never disappoints.

So… if you don’t hear from me for a little while, you’ll know exactly where I am—curled up with this book, soaking up every page.

These two are the sweetest, and I’m so grateful for all their appreciation toward me for helping them through this next chapter… but the truth is, it was my privilege.
