Provider Homes Inc. is looking for a skilled and reliable Part or Full Time Maintenance & Finishing Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of maintenance, finishing, and repair tasks — as well as address additional issues as they arise — to keep our properties in excellent condition.
🔨 Key Responsibilities
Mudding & Sanding: Perform drywall repairs, patching, mudding, and sanding to prepare surfaces for painting or finishing.
Painting: Apply paint, primer, and touch-ups with a clean, professional finish.
Finishing Work: Install or replace baseboards, trim, and other finishing details to maintain a polished appearance.
Door & Hardware Adjustments: Re-hang or adjust doors and latches that have shifted due to building movement; align and tighten hinges, handles, and closers.
General Home Repairs: Adjust deadbolts and door latches, Clean dryer ducts and HRV filters, Repair minor plumbing leaks (e.g., dripping faucets, loose traps), Replace light fixtures or bulbs etc.
📋 Qualifications
Experience with drywall repair, painting, and finishing work
Basic carpentry and handyman skills
Ability to safely use common tools and equipment
Knowledge of minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills as needed
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided for full time position)
