Usually behind the camera, occasionally convinced to get in front of it. 📸

I’m always encouraging clients to show more of themselves in their content, so it’s only fair I take my own advice.

For me, so much of the enjoyment in this work comes from the people. The conversations between shots, the ideas we come up with together, and that moment someone sees the finished product and gets excited to share it.

That’s what I want Timber to feel like. Someone you’re comfortable bouncing ideas off, being yourself around, and trusting to bring your vision to life.

And yes, someone who will say “one more shot” at least four times before packing up. 😂

If you’ve been overthinking what to post, sometimes a photo of yourself and a few honest words are a pretty good place to start.

Some stories deserve a little more time. 🤍

For this video with Realtor Chelsea Tiller | REALTOR® | YYT , we slowed things down to capture a piece of St. John’s and the community that gives it character.

There’s something special about letting a scene breathe. Taking in the streets, the homes, and the little details that make a neighbourhood feel familiar, even if you’ve never lived there.

In a city with this much history, every community has a story. Generations of memories, everyday routines, and people who’ve made these places their own.

I loved taking a more traditional storytelling approach to this one. Giving people time to connect with a place, imagine a life there, and feel a little of what makes it home. 🏡

She’s only five, but at this rate, by the time she’s ready to buy her first home, she’ll have a checklist longer than her Christmas list. 😂

Starting her young, this one’s still in the framing stage, but she’s already getting a feel for the market! 🔨❤️

Tired, but thankful. That’s probably the best way to describe this season.

Lately, it’s been a blur of shoots, edits, conversations, and trying to keep all the moving pieces moving. But looking back at the opportunities, the work, and the relationships built along the way, there’s a lot to be proud of.

Being an entrepreneur can make it easy to focus on what’s still left to do. I’m trying to get better at taking a minute to appreciate everything that’s happened, too.

To everyone who’s trusted me with their business, recommended Timber, or been patient during a very full season—thank you. There’s a person behind every project, and I don’t take that trust lightly.

As we move out of fall and get ready for winter, I’m looking forward to getting the projects in my editing queue across the finish line and bringing some new ideas to life.

A little worn out. A lot grateful. Still excited about what’s ahead. 🌲
