Imagine a fall afternoon in Sechelt...
The leaves along Cowrie Street have started to turn, so you take your time walking downtown. You stop into Talewind Books, spend longer than you meant to in the local section, and leave with a new book under your arm. Later you walk through Hackett Park, where the cedars shade the path, and find a bench by the water to read the first few chapters. As the afternoon winds down, you head to The Breeze for dinner. At the end of it all, you come home to Inlet Avenue, where the tree out front has turned gold.
This is fall in Sechelt. The bookstore, the park, the water and dinner are all close to home, so it's easy to make the most of the season.
