I will be one of the panelists on Friday night.

This is a great opportunity for parents, grandparents, and late/diagnosed adults to learn more about ADHD and how to be an incredible support system for your friends and family.

It’s been four long years of not feeling like myself and after a long road of advocating and trying to pinpoint how to manage my symptoms, I got a total hysterectomy yesterday.

I’ll be out of the office for a few weeks recovering. A big thank you to all the staff at the Regina General. It was so nice that I knew the majority of nurses on my floor.

I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis this past spring and also found Endometriosis during the procedure outside of my uterus.

For all you women out there that were brushed aside by multiple doctors that said there is nothing they could do, it’s just a part of aging, you just need to lose weight, we’ll prescribe you some SSRI’s… I know how defeating it feels. I would suggest connecting to a nurse practitioner and an obgyn. Keep pushing for answers and find someone who listens and collaborates with you on a plan.

I’m doing well and resting (which is not an easy thing for me).
