📊 Red Deer home values — still rising, but the pace has slowed

These track the same benchmark home over time, so they follow the market rather than whichever homes happened to sell. Over the two years through September 2026:

🏡 Detached +8.8%
🏘️ Row / Townhouse +18.2%
🏢 Apartment +15.9%
🏠 Semi-Detached +10.7%

Across all home types, values are +10.8% over two years — but most of that gain came in the first of those two years. The past year has been noticeably slower.

A typical detached home, year by year:
Year to September 2024: +10.5%
Year to September 2025: +5.7%
Year to September 2026: +2.9%

Still going up — just more slowly.
