💙 A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO WINDSOR SALT 💙
Some support deserves more than a simple “thank you.”
As we continue preparing for Gathering of the Clans 2027, we want to recognize an incredible community partner who has helped us turn one generous gift into something much bigger.
Windsor Salt generously donated two brand-new CAT® children’s ride-on construction vehicles for our fundraising raffle. 🚜💛
And our community did the rest.
Over the past several weeks, people stopped by, bought tickets, shared our posts, told their friends and supported the raffle. On Saturday, we finally drew our two lucky winners — and when everything was counted, 606 tickets had been sold, raising $1,011 toward Gathering of the Clans 2027.
That is what community partnership can do.
A donation becomes a fundraiser.
A fundraiser brings people together.
And that support helps us continue a tradition that has been part of Pugwash for generations.
But Windsor Salt’s support means even more to us than the final number.
Events like the Gathering of the Clans don't happen because of one person or one organization. They happen because businesses, volunteers, residents and community partners decide that local traditions are worth supporting — and worth carrying forward.
Windsor Salt did exactly that.
Their generosity gave us an opportunity to raise funds without taking those dollars away from the event itself. It created excitement throughout the summer, gave two families some very exciting prizes, and provided meaningful financial support as we begin building Gathering of the Clans 2027.
To everyone at Windsor Salt:
Thank you for believing in our community.
Thank you for investing in our traditions.
Thank you for helping us create something for our families and our children.
And thank you for helping us keep the Gathering going. ❤️
We are incredibly grateful to have partners who understand that supporting a community event is about much more than sponsorship.
It is about helping preserve the things that bring people together.
And because of your generosity, $1,011 is now going directly toward making Gathering of the Clans 2027 another day for Pugwash to come together, celebrate and create memories.
From the Village of Pugwash, the organizers of the Gathering of the Clans, and everyone who supported our fundraiser:
THANK YOU, WINDSOR SALT! 💙
Your generosity made a real difference.
🏴❤️ Together, we gather. Together, we keep the tradition going.
See you at Gathering of the Clans 2027!
