September brought another month of change across the city when compared with September 2025:

📉 Sales were down 6.6%
📉 Average sale price was down 1.0%
🏡 Inventory and days on market continued to rise

What does that mean? Buyers are seeing more options and generally having more time to weigh their decisions, while sellers need to be a little more thoughtful about how they position their home.

The Bank of Canada will also announce its next rate decision on October 28th, so it’s another date to keep on your radar.
