Sometimes dealing with wildlife is all part of acreage living. This little guy decided that taking up residence underneath our shed and eating my ducks was a good life choice. 🦨

In the interests of sharing our beautiful land with the wildlife, he has been safely relocated to another location where he can more appropriately live his best life.

Some days acreage life gives us some extra little tasks but no one expected but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Acreage buyers often spend most of the showing looking at the house, but the septic system deserves attention too.

Before making an offer, find out what type of system serves the property, how old it is and what maintenance or servicing information is available.

Ask:
- What type of septic system is installed?
- When was it installed?
- When was it last serviced?
- Are maintenance records available?
- Have there been any known issues?

You do not need to become a septic expert. You do need to understand what comes with the property.
