LRV stands for Light Reflectance Value, and it's something I always consider when choosing paint colors.

Every paint color has an LRV between 0 and 100.

๐Ÿค๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐‹๐‘๐•: Reflects more light, making a color appear lighter and brighter.

๐Ÿ–ค๐‹๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ ๐‹๐‘๐•: Reflects less light, creating a deeper, moodier look.

But here's where it gets interesting...

Two rooms painted the EXACT same color can look completely different depending on natural light, window direction, and surrounding finishes!

A little knowledge can save you from a ๐๐ˆ๐† ๐ฉ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ญ!!

I wasn't planning to buy anything!
I wasn't looking for inspiration!

But then I spotted this little Kleenex box cover... and apparently, my brain decided we needed to redo an entire bathroom!๐Ÿ›

The colors, the texture, the beautiful little embroidered flowers... I could already picture the whole room coming together.

And just like that, a simple little find turned into a full blown design project!

I walked into HomeSense yesterday and BAM!!! ๐ŸŽ„Christmas everywhere! Trees, ornaments, Santa... ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿปthe whole North Pole!!

Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, but I'm still enjoying my pumpkins, fall colors and cozy evenings!

Why are we always in such a hurry to get to the next thing? Life flies by fast enough without us helping it along!
