There’s something different about key day.
Especially when you’ve been there from the very beginning.
I still remember sitting down together, looking at a floor plan and trying to imagine what this home would eventually become.
At that point, it was just lines on a piece of paper.
We talked about the layout. The rooms. Where everything would go. What life might look like here one day.
Then you watch it slowly become real.
The construction starts.
The building goes up.
You drive by and check on the progress.
Months pass. Sometimes years.
And eventually, that floor plan you were staring at becomes an actual home you can walk into.
That’s probably one of the most gratifying parts of what I do.
Real estate is obviously about buying and selling homes, but after doing this for so many years, I’ve realized the part I appreciate most is getting to grow alongside my clients.
You meet people at one stage of their life.
Maybe they’re buying their first condo.
Then a few years later, they need more space.
Then comes the house.
Maybe marriage.
Kids.
A bigger home.
An investment property.
Helping their parents.
Or eventually helping the next generation buy their first place.
And somewhere along the way, the relationship changes.
You’re not just the person who helped them buy a property anymore.
You’ve shared some pretty important moments together.
That’s what today feels like.
From looking at a floor plan and imagining what could be…
to standing inside the finished home and handing over the keys.
That’s pretty special.
Congratulations on the new home.
Thank you for trusting me to be part of the journey.
Here’s to the next chapter. 🔑🏡
