There are some great options around Kamloops and within a short drive!

Desert Hills Garden in Ashcroft, only about an hour away, has the most amazing display this year.

Privato Vineyard and Winery have an amazing patch, although there will be admission fees.

Thanksgiving is a great time to slow down and enjoy time with friends and family. Appreciating what matters the most.
I am thankful for my family, and for the community that I have been fortunate enough to be a part of for many years.

However or wherever you are spending your Thanksgiving this weekend, may you cherish the moments and the memories that are in the making as you take time reflect on what has been given to you.

Getting your home ready for winter!

As we move into fall, it's a good time for homeowners to begin the winterization process.

This process doesn't have to be complicated or become a task that we tend to not look forward to. Instead, why not make it a family affair?

There are plenty of things everyone can help with from raking the leaves, cleaning out gutters, blowing out your sprinkler system (You may want a professional to do this one 😅), preparing your A/C for the winter months, garden hoses that need to be drained, and let’s not forget about the garden beds. Cleaning them up now will make it a lot easier in the springtime.

Moving into the indoors, there are furnace filters to check or replace, windows and doors to make sure they have adequate sealing to prevent heat loss, and reversing your ceiling fans. Yes, that is a thing😉

At the end of the day, when everything is done and the leaves are piled high, that's when the fun really begins. Jump in and enjoy what fall has to offer, ending it with a steaming cup

🍂 Fall is in the Air!

Well, Kamloops, it looks like fall is starting to make its appearance! The mornings are getting cooler, the leaves are starting to change, and the evenings definitely have a little more bite to them.

It’s that time of year when you leave the house dressed for winter in the morning, and by afternoon you’re carrying half your outfit around with you! 😂

But there’s still plenty of beautiful warmth left to enjoy. September is a great time to get out and enjoy everything Kamloops has to offer — from walking the fall trails and getting out for a little fishing, to checking out the farmers markets, local events, and catching a Blazers game.
