Here’s my latest article in the Coast Reporter, looking at what this fall’s real estate market means for buyers and sellers on the Lower Sunshine Coast.
Right now, buyers have more choice and are taking their time, while sellers are finding that pricing realistically from day one matters more than ever.
For sellers, it’s important to pay attention to what the market is telling you — showings, feedback, second visits and actual recent sales. For buyers, there may be more room to negotiate, but a well-priced, well-maintained home can still attract plenty of interest.
There’s also some uncertainty on the Coast heading into the fall and winter, so my advice to both sides is pretty simple: be prepared, be realistic, and make decisions based on the market we’re actually in today.
