More homes hit the market in September, while sales slowed.

The Greater Edmonton Area recorded 1,959 residential sales, down 8.8% from August, and 3,864 new listings, up 7.2%.

The average selling price was $466,080, down 0.8% from August but up 2.9% from last September.

The list price tells you what the seller is asking. It doesn’t necessarily tell you what the home is worth. 👀

Knowing the difference can help you avoid overpaying AND recognize when a home is actually priced fairly.

That’s where having the right information before you write an offer matters.
