Exciting milestone in Southwest Edmonton!

We are thrilled to officially celebrate the opening of Petro-Canada and A&W Canada at our brand-new Shoppes at Stillwater development. As the very first businesses to open their doors at this location, they mark the beginning of a vibrant new commercial hub for the surrounding community.

A huge congratulations to owner Vik Heer and his team on this fantastic achievement.

We were also honored to have Councillor Thu parmar join us to mark the occasion and show support for local economic growth in the area.

Our sincere thanks and congratulations also go out to the corporate and operational teams at both Petro-Canada and A&W. Strong developments aren't just built on concrete and steel—they succeed because of the enduring relationships we build with outstanding tenant partners like these.

Next time you’re in Stillwater, be sure to stop by, fuel up, and grab a Teen Burger!

Yesterday, we had the privilege of attending the 2026 YWCA Edmonton Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon at the Royal Glenora Club and left feeling genuinely inspired.

This incredible event celebrates women and gender-diverse individuals whose leadership, vision, and dedication are shaping a stronger, more equitable Edmonton. From Trailblazers breaking barriers in their fields to rising leaders driving civic change, the room was filled with the kind of people who remind you why community matters.

Watching these remarkable individuals be recognized for their courage, creativity, and impact was a powerful reminder that real change happens one committed person at a time.

A huge congratulations to all of this year's honourees and thank you to YWCA Edmonton for continuing a legacy of celebration and advocacy that has been going strong since 1982.
