A couple weeks ago, we lost FCX’s Co-Founder and Partner, Jamie Burns.

While we continue to mourn the loss of an incredible partner and friend, we strive to honour Jamie’s vision, generosity and the belief he had in FCX from the very beginning.

His impact will always be part of our story and what we continue to build.

Yes, it’s winter ❄️
No, this wasn’t a cold concrete pour.

For these walkout steps, heaters were running under tarps for days before and after the pour to bring the ground and concrete to proper temperature and ensure correct curing 🧱🔥
This is how winter concrete is done properly — with planning, control, and experience.

None of this happens without skilled trades who show up, work hard, and take pride in their craft, even in tough conditions 👷‍♂️💪
We value our trades and the effort they put into every phase of the build.

These details don’t always show in photos, but they’re what protect the asset, reduce long-term risk, and deliver better performance over time.

Demolition Day 🧱➡️🏗️

This is where every project really begins.
Not with finishes. Not with renderings.
But with tearing down what no longer serves the site, the neighborhood, or the future.

Safer. Smarter. More efficient. More intentional.

Dust, noise, logistics, permits, neighbors, timing — it’s messy work, but it matters.
