September 2026 Chilliwack Market Update

September brought continued changes to the local real estate market. Compared with September 2025, active listings were down 5.57%, home sales declined 13.1%, and the average property price decreased 6.35% to $722,858.

🏠 Detached: $872,370 average price
🏢 Apartments: $372,174 average price
🏘️ Townhomes: $578,104 average price

While overall sales slowed, apartment sales increased by 8% compared with last year. Each property type is experiencing different conditions, making it important to understand the market specific to your home or real estate goals.
