One of our favourite fall hikes close to Canmore 🍂🏔️

Tunnel Mountain is short, sweet and so worth it. The trail winds up through the trees, and at the top you get an incredible view over the town of Banff and down the Bow Valley, with the Fairmont Banff Springs tucked right into the scenery. It's the perfect hike when you want big views without committing to the whole day.

Quick tip: you'll need a Parks Canada pass, since it's inside Banff National Park.

September was a busy month in Canmore! Here's a quick look at how the market performed:

37 homes sold, up 28% from August and up 48% from September 2025.
83 average days on market, so homes are taking a little longer to sell than last month.
3.4 months of inventory, which puts Canmore in a balanced market.

Average sale prices by category:

Detached: $2,015,200 (up 14% year over year)
Duplexes: $1,719,500 (up 5%)
Townhomes: $1,104,400 (down 1%)
Apartments: $903,400 (up 5%)
Hotel condos: $1,354,500 (up 56%)

The $1M to $1.5M range was the busiest price point, with 14 sales in September.
