You’ll never notice most of what we got right.

That’s how it should be. The good decisions in a house disappear into daily life.

Things close the way they should.
Rooms stay warm where you sit.
Nothing creaks, sticks or needs explaining to guests.

None of it makes the magazine shot. All of it gets used thousands of times, for as long as you live there.

The real test of a build is ten years in, not move-in day.

This Saturday, the doors to The Parkside Showhome are open.

A mountain modern home on 1.49 acres in Silverhorn, Bearspaw. Ironstone and cedar outside. Vaulted ceilings, white oak floors and a carriage house inside, with craftsmanship in every detail.

Some things are better seen in person. Come walk through it.

📍 2 Silverhorn Park, Bearspaw
🗓 Saturday, October 24 · 1–4 PM

It’s the last room you see every night. It should feel like it was made for you.

It’s where the day finally stops. The lights come down low. The noise stays on the other side of the door. Everything you need is within reach, and nothing you don’t is in the room at all.

That doesn’t happen by accident. It’s planned around how you end your day, from the first drawing.

Every other room is for the house. This one’s for you.

Quiet isn’t something you find. It’s something you build.

The land gives you the view. The quiet inside the house is a different job. Walls built to keep sound where it belongs. A floor plan that keeps the loud rooms away from the restful ones. Windows placed for light, not noise. Mechanical you never hear running.

None of it makes the listing photos. You notice it the first night, and every night after.

This one’s still going up, and every one of those decisions is being made now, long before anyone moves in.

Since 1989, that’s been the standard.

Most floor plans were drawn for a family nobody’s met.

They’re a decent guess. Bedrooms in a row upstairs, an office that’s really a guest room, a kitchen sized for an average Tuesday. Then you spend years living around the parts that don’t fit.

A custom home starts the other way round. With who’s in it, how the days actually go, and what the house needs to hold this weekend and twenty years from now.

The plan comes last. That’s the point.

The first cold night tells you everything about a room.

Not the furniture. Not the finishes. Whether people stay.

In a room built for October, they do. The fire is where the conversation already is. The light lasts a little longer than it should. Nobody drifts off to another part of the house, because this is where they’d rather be.

That isn’t decorating. It gets decided long before, when someone asks how you actually spend a winter evening.

We ask early. Then we build the room around the answer.

There’s a version of coming home where the house absorbs it.

Four people, a dog, wet boots, coats that won’t go anywhere near dry by morning. Bags down, doors shut, and none of it follows you into the rest of the house.

That’s a room doing its job quietly. Enough space that nobody is waiting. Doors that let air through, so what went in wet comes out ready. A bench, because someone always needs to sit down.

Nobody walks into a home and says they love the mudroom. They just never think about it again.

The trees were here first.

You don’t clear a site like this and set a house down on it. You find where the clearing already wants to be, where the drive comes in without taking the best stands, which way the house has to face to get the mountains.

By the time anything is poured, the land has made most of the decisions.

The house is the answer. The site asked the question.

The Parkside Showhome is open this Sunday.

A mountain modern estate on 1.49 landscaped acres in Silverhorn, Bearspaw. Ironstone and cedar outside. Sixteen-foot vaulted ceilings and white oak floors in.
A chef’s kitchen. A sauna in the lower level. A thousand square foot carriage house of its own.

Worth seeing in person.

What a builder refuses to do tells you more than what they promise.

These five have been the same since 1989. They’re not policies we introduced to be different, they’re just how the work gets done properly.
