Why on Gods beautiful earth would anyone want to pay a split to a team….

Well, I can answer than more honestly know than I ever have. Because I now pay a split to Reside on every single deal our team does. I couldn’t be happier about it!

I have never been on a team and I have never had a coach. So I have never been accountable to anyone but myself since starting in real estate. This was the first time I have ever felt that kind of pressure. And wow, does it work!

Although I am already a very high performer, I always knew there was more left in the tank. Having to have a weekly accountability meeting just exposed it so clearly. I had tasks I was supposed to do. I had an insanely busy week and didn’t get them done. My coach cared as a friend but absolutely didn’t care as a coach. So we reset alignment and redid my calendar and now I will hit the targets we have set out this week.

Without him as a coach I know for a fact it would have slipped smoother week. And another and so on till it became a habit. Now it gets corrected right away.

This is the exact same for agents joining our team. It doesn’t let a bad week roll into another till it becomes a habit and the norm.

When I saw I was shaking, I don’t mean a little. My entire body was moving like a jackhammer.

I haven’t trained legs seriously in years and it showed. I was doing next to no weight at all and it felt like I was riding an earthquake with every rep.

Few weeks later and few more leg workouts under my belt, and I was doing the full stack on each machine like I never missed a beat.

Business is the exact same. You’re gonna suck at the beginning. It’s just how it works. Your social media videos are gonna be bad and get no views and no likes. Your email news letter is gonna get just as many unsubscribed as opens. Your open houses will produce no leads. You’re going to get hung up on by more leads than meaningful convos.

That’s exactly how it’s supposed to be! We all have the privilege of sucking at the beginning! And with every rep. Every time we don’t miss a session, every time we don’t give up and push through when we want to quit is us EARNING the right to be great!

This is how business and sales work. Every time you push yourself to failure, you find your current ceiling. And the fast you get up and get back at it, the sooner you’ll find you break through that ceiling and find the next one!

Growing a business means accepting failure as the goal right from the beginning and understanding that pain and frustration will be with you consistently the entire time.This is because we don’t know what we don’t know. We start with uninformed optimism, thinking we can do everything without it crashing. But building until that crash is literally the goal!That’s when you know you’ve reached your current skill set limit, and that’s okay. It’s going to suck, and it’s going to hurt. It’s going to cost you money and possibly relationships as the stress piles up.But this is exactly when the magic happens—when you get a chance to reflect on what worked and what broke. Then, you can adjust and learn from the things that didn’t work and build it back bigger and better the next time.I failed seven times straight to zero while building this business, and who knows, there could be more on the horizon. But I’ve learned and grown stronger from every single time.Many people say you need to “find your why,” and this is very true. However, many people leave this concept fluffy and vague. Our entire team truly works their asses off as we are not a leads based team but an educational and SOI business building team. So to be consistently ranking this high is truly something special and it takes the work and effort of everyone!!!

Hey everyone 🙂

We are putting on a pretty amazing event geared towards realtors and people in the real estate industry. But there will be some incredible education for literally anyone!

We have some of the biggest teams, solo agents, video creators and funnel builders in the business as well as a couple airbnb speakers with over 100 properties under management in calgary alone. 🤯 Those guys will bring a ton of value and we have also invited 4 of the largest builders in Calgary to speak about new home sales, how they work and how we can all help each other as well as an open Q and A.
