⬇️ Shop the Collection Each of our creations are made by manipulating 10,000 volts of electricity. Basically we harness the power of lightning to create masterpieces. Our creations are handmade in our small shop in Calgary, Alberta by a very patient craftsmen, and a designer, who just happen to be best friends, and madly in love. When we create a piece that requires steel we always choose the best North American, industrial, grade A steel. We sand, burn, and sand some more. When we get just the right look, we complete the piece by sealing it to be durable, for the intention of it being passed on for generations.

Three places. One love story. 🩷

When Rose ordered these three pieces, I didn’t realize just how much I was going to love the story behind them.

She’s from British Columbia.
He’s from Manitoba.
And their love story began in Alberta.

Sound familiar? 🥹

It’s the same story as Ash and me 🩷
which made creating these pieces feel a little extra special.

Rose is putting all three together in their crafting and gaming room, and what I loved most was how excited she was knowing they wouldn’t simply fill a wall. They would tell their story.

Where they came from.
Where they found each other.
And a little piece of the life they’ve built together.

This is why I love what we create at Decades Collide. Wood is beautiful. Craftsmanship matters. But the meaning behind each piece? That’s the part I’ll never get tired of.

I love a beautiful gallery wall, collected pieces, old photographs, landscapes, artwork you’ve found over the years…..

That’s exactly how I picture our Decades Collide state and province pieces being used.
