This August, the theme was opening doors...

My own home to contractors as we re-reno’d after our flood, to our lake place opening up to cousins and friends, to the neighbourhood kids just walking right through our front door (I love this!).

And 3 new doors for clients, watching them close on one home for the last time and some opening the next for the first.

The worst real estate advice in Cochrane often sounds completely reasonable… until it costs you money.

I hear the same advice all the time. From clients, in DMs, and from people who were simply told something by a friend and assumed it must be true.

Some myths are harmless. Others can cost you thousands, delay your plans, or lead you to make a decision you’ll wish you could undo.

That’s why I’ll always give you the honest answer—even when it’s not the answer you were hoping for.

Because my job isn’t to tell you what you want to hear. It’s to help you make smart, informed decisions with the full picture in front of you.

worth referring? 🤍

The right agent knows when a repair is worth pushing

has red flags a buyer might miss—and when to say:

“I know you love it, but I don’t think this is the one.”

Because when you refer a friend, coworker, neighbour,

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and if it snuck up on you, you’re not alone.
