We have so many beautiful hidden gems so close to home that many people don’t even know about. Mono Cliffs hiking trail is among them. Only 20 mins from Alliston, with something for everyone, this trail leads from forest to fields, to a lake, river and even cliffs! Worth the morning or afternoon any day you’re free to check it out. Just don’t forget to book your parking in advance! ,

We spent most of the summer working on the house this year. The house looks great but it was boring. For all of us. So we took a day off to spend as a family on a one day road trip to the Grotto in Tobermory. The weather was ominous when we left home, it was a four hour drive to get there, one kid got car sick, but it was all worth it when we arrived. The weather cleared, the kid felt better and we had an incredible day swimming, exploring and spending some well earned family time together. If you’re looking for a little adventure not too far from home, we highly recommend checking Tobermory out.
