So… let me reintroduce myself 👋
My name’s Steph.
By day, I’m the Marketing and Community Engagement Coordinator at Century 21 On Duporth in Maroochydore. In simple terms, I look after how our office shows up, both online and around the Coast. That covers everything from our social media and campaigns to supporting our agents with their marketing and keeping us connected with the community we work in. I’ve been in real estate since 2017, and marketing is the part of it I fell in love with.
When I’m not at my ‘regular’ job, you’ll find me wearing a few other hats.
I own Aloura Collective, a strategy-led creative consultancy. It started out as SD Marketing back in 2018 and has grown into something much bigger. These days I work alongside businesses on brand positioning, creative direction, marketing strategy and social media management. I’m a big believer that creativity needs strategy behind it, and that’s exactly what I help business owners build.
I also own Steph Downman Photography, which is where I get to get behind the camera. I shoot portraits and landscapes, including maternity, family and graduation sessions across Gympie, the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay.
And if that wasn’t enough, I’m an Auxiliary Firefighter with the Queensland Fire Department. That means I’m on call, and when a job comes in I drop what I’m doing at home or at work to respond to fires, road crashes and other emergencies in my community. It’s challenging, it’s humbling, and it’s one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. 🚒
