The Reserve Bank has increased the cash rate by 0.25 percentage points. The cash rate is now 4.60 per cent.
A higher cash rate tightens household budgets and raises the cost of variable-rate lending. In conditions like these, it is worth reviewing your overall financial position rather than waiting for the next repayment notice.
