Breaking new ground 💪

One of the biggest parts of the modular home building process is the groundwork. Site preparation and earthworks, here we come!

Here’s a quick overview of what you can expect:

🗺️ A site survey - A professional site survey gives us precise measurements of your block, including its boundaries, levels, slopes and any existing features or services on or near the land. This ensures your home is positioned correctly and designed to fit your site perfectly.

🔎 Soil analysis - We’ll do thorough tests on the soil to determine if extra support or drainage requirements are needed before we lay the slab.

🔥 BAL testing - If your block is in a bushfire-prone area, you will need to have a professional BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) assessment conducted to see if your new home will require any design and construction modifications.

🚧 Site preparation - This is go time! Once all the testing is done, we’ll prepare the site and footings, set up your utility services and await delivery of your Foxy new home.

Back to our Country Roots 🌾

A few weeks ago, we were thrilled to see our Country Roots project take home gold at the 2026 HIA Mid West Housing Awards for Affordable Housing of the Year 🥇

Based on our popular 2 bedroom Fitzroy design, the Country Roots home was custom designed for a young family who were swapping city living for a quieter semi-rural lifestyle.

With the home positioned on a large block, provisions have been made for a future workshop and garage, as well as the potential for a home-based business. 🙌

All this versatility not only caught the judges’ eyes, but also made for a very happy client.
