Here are a few simple steps to stay on track:

1️⃣ Start early
Begin looking for an inspector and gathering quotes before you submit your offer.

2️⃣ Check availability
Ask inspectors about their upcoming availability and let them know where you’re at in the process — it helps avoid last-minute stress.

3️⃣ Keep tenancy in mind
If the property is tenanted, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for entry. This can impact booking times, so give your inspector a heads-up.

4️⃣ Fast turnaround matters
Make sure you’ll receive your report within 24 hours of the inspection — timing is everything in a 7-day clause.

5️⃣ Lock it in after signing
Only confirm and book your inspection once your contract has been signed.
