A proud milestone for VICPROP Brunswick.

We’re thrilled to announce Sharon Perera’s appointment as Director & Auctioneer.

This promotion caps off a standout year. At this year’s VICPROP Annual Awards, Sharon placed in the Top 2 for Agent of the Year (Non-Director Division), recognised as one of the strongest performers across the network. She also won the Novice Auctioneer Competition, a moment the whole Brunswick team was cheering for. Both were fitting rewards for someone who puts her heart into every campaign, from the first appraisal to the fall of the hammer.

Since joining VICPROP, Sharon has become one of our office’s driving forces. Stepping into the Director role, she’ll help lead the Brunswick team while continuing to call auctions and guide clients through their biggest property decisions.

Congratulations, Sharon Sharon Perera. This one is thoroughly earned, and we can’t wait to see what comes next. 🏴

The market is more transparent than ever, and that changes the conversation for sellers.

Buyers now arrive informed. They’ve compared recent sales, tracked listings and formed a view on value before they walk through the door. That makes pricing strategy and presentation more important than ever.

Today, a successful sale depends on clear advice, accurate evidence and smart positioning from day one. Expectations need to be grounded in data, not hope.

VICPROP can help you understand where your property sits in today’s market and how to position it with confidence.

Spring is Victoria’s busiest time to buy and sell, and this season brings a major change to how auctions work.

From 16 October, every auction must have the seller’s reserve price published at least seven days beforehand. That means no more guessing, and no more wasted spring weekends on properties that were never within reach.

It’s a major step towards fairer, more transparent auctions, arriving just as the spring market gets busy. Swipe through to see what’s changing and what it means for you.

New auction rules mean your reserve price is on display. Make sure it’s the right one.

Every market has its challenges. The right strategy turns them into opportunities.

With the RBA continuing to navigate inflation and broader economic conditions, interest rates remain an important consideration for buyers, sellers and tenants. Understanding how these conditions are influencing confidence, affordability and decision-making is key to making informed property decisions. At VICPROP, we combine local expertise, market insight and buyer behaviour to help you navigate the market with confidence.
