Supporting local. Celebrating heritage. Bringing our community together.

Jazz from Just Got Finance and I are proud to be community partners of the Heritage Hands Festival, coming to Sandgate Town Hall on 6–7 November.

As two local businesswomen, we both believe in supporting the community where we live and work. Sandgate has such a strong sense of community, and events like this are part of what makes our area so special.

The Heritage Hands Festival celebrates traditional trades, craftsmanship and the talented people keeping these skills alive for future generations.

There’ll be artisan demonstrations, a makers market, hands-on workshops, exhibitions and talks. It’s a great opportunity to meet some talented craftspeople, learn something new and support an event right here in Sandgate.

We’re delighted to be involved and to play a small part in bringing this festival to our local community.

One of the things I've always loved about real estate is the people I meet along the way.

This recent review came from a buyer in Kelvin Grove who purchased their forever home through me, and I was particularly touched by their words.

As agents, we often share reviews from our sellers, but I think the experience we give buyers is just as important.

Buying or selling a home can be stressful, particularly in a fast-moving market. I believe everyone deserves honest advice, clear communication and to feel genuinely supported throughout the process.

It's how I've always approached real estate, and it's something I'm proud to continue doing through my own boutique agency, Principal Property.

And when a buyer says they're happy to recommend me to friends and family who are thinking of selling, that's a pretty lovely compliment.

Good advice makes all the difference.

Sometimes my advice is: don’t sell.

It might sound strange coming from a real estate agent, but I’ve recently had conversations with property owners where my advice has been exactly that.

Don’t sell. Not yet.

For some, renting the property makes more sense. For others, there are improvements worth making first. And sometimes, when you look at the numbers and the owner’s longer-term plans, holding onto the property is simply the better option.

That’s why I describe myself as a Real Estate Advisor.

My job isn’t to convince you to sell. It’s to help you understand what your property is worth, what it could rent for, and what your options are — then give you my advice.

Sometimes that leads to a FOR SALE sign.

Sometimes it doesn’t.

No pressure. No obligation. Just good property advice.

I can sell your property. I can rent your property. And sometimes, I might advise you to do neither.

After more than 12 years in real estate, I’ve learnt that the right property decision isn’t always to sell.

Sometimes renting makes more sense. Sometimes improving the property, holding it or simply waiting is the better option.

That’s why I see my role as a Real Estate Advisor, not simply an agent looking for the next listing.

My job is to help you understand your options, look at the numbers and make a decision that suits your circumstances.

No pressure. No obligation. Just good property advice.

This review meant a lot to me.

Particularly the opening line — “I am not normally a fan of real estate agents…”

I know real estate agents don’t always have the best reputation, so to have someone say that I changed their view is probably one of the best compliments I could receive.

I’ve always believed you can work hard for your seller, negotiate well and still treat everyone involved with honesty and fairness.

And running a boutique agency means I can stay personally involved throughout the sale.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review.

📸 A huge thank you from the three of us! ❤️

Last night, Gina, Coralie and I took part in the Live Like Her Challenge at DFO Brisbane Airport, sleeping overnight in our cars to raise money for women over 55 experiencing homelessness.

One statistic shared with us last night really hit home:

Once a woman over 55 becomes homeless and starts living in her car, her life expectancy can be just three to four years.

That is shocking. And it really puts into perspective why this work matters so much.

Thanks to your incredible support, we raised over $4,100 for The Forgotten Women.

Every donation, share, message and word of encouragement helped us reach this goal — and it genuinely matters.

Sleeping in my car for one night was uncomfortable, but I knew I was safe, that it was only one night and that I could go home in the morning.

For many women, there is no home to go back to.

That’s why this cause is so important. The money raised helps provide safe, secure housing for women over 55 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Thank you for standing with us and helping more women have somewhere safe to call home.

We’re already planning to come back next year with an even bigger goal — $10,000!

And we’d love your help❤️

Tonight I’ll be spending the night sleeping in my car at the DFO car park as part of the **Live Like Her Challenge**, getting a small glimpse of what life is like for women who have no choice but to sleep in their cars.

I’m a little anxious about how much sleep I’m actually going to get, but I’m also very aware that I’ll be safe, surrounded by some lovely people, and tomorrow morning I get to go home.

For so many women experiencing homelessness, those comforts simply aren’t there. Sleeping in a car isn’t a challenge for one night. It’s their reality.

As many of you know, this is a cause I feel very strongly about. I’m incredibly grateful to be in a position where I can take part and help raise awareness and funds for women who need support.

There’s still time to donate if you’d like to support the **Live Like Her Challenge**. Every contribution helps. ❤️

Hi friends and family,As a team we are taking on the Live Like Her Challenge 2026 to help more homeless women over 55 into a home. I'm taking part in the Live Like Her Challenge by sleeping out to raise money for women over 55 who are facing homelessness.

This is a cause that is close to my heart. Through my work in real estate, I've seen how quickly life can change.

Many of these women never expected to be in this position. A relationship ends, a partner dies, or a major life event changes everything. After years of raising children and supporting their families, they often have limited superannuation, reduced earning capacity and very few housing options.

Some are still trying to provide a stable home for children who are at school. Others have watched their children grow up and leave home, only to find they can no longer afford a place to live themselves.

Homelessness doesn't always look the way people imagine. It can happen to women who have worked hard, raised families and simply had life take an unexpected turn.

For years I've joked that I'd help by winning Lotto one day. Then I realised there's no point waiting. You don't have to start with a huge donation or a grand plan. You just have to start.

I'm also lucky to be doing this alongside two wonderful friends. A huge thank you to Gina, who organised our team in the first place, and to Coralie, whom I will be joining for the sleep out in early September. I'm grateful to be sharing the experience with you both.

If you can spare $10, or any amount at all, I'd be so grateful. Every dollar helps support women who need a safe place to live and a chance to rebuild their lives.

Thank you for supporting such an important cause.

SOLD — 43 Rusden Street, Kelvin Grove

Three open homes.
Over 30 buyer groups.
Four offers.
One successful sale.

Multiple offers can look similar, but the conditions and risks can vary. An experienced agent knows how to assess each offer, negotiate with buyers and advise the seller when it’s time to accept.

Experience matters, especially in this market.

A few lucky buyers got a sneak peek today before this home officially hits the market.
