A recent Age article (27 June 2026) alleged a building inspection report had pages removed before being handed to a buyer. Whoever paid for it isn't really the issue, the real question is, can you trust the report?
Before you rely on one, ask:
1. Is it complete and unaltered?
2. Was it done by a qualified, insured inspector?
3. Can you speak directly to the inspector?
4. Can it be edited after the fact?
We've done 30,000+ inspections across Australia. Our reports are delivered via a html link (not an editable PDF attachment), and every client can talk to the inspector who did the job.
Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll make. Don't leave it to a report you can't fully trust.
