There is something special about a weekend that brings neighbours together, and our recent HOA AGM weekend was a wonderful reminder of what makes Darling Green Country Estate such a unique place to call home.

Good food, good company and a whole lot of Darling gees!🔥

We joined Darling Cellars for this year’s annual Jo-Pot Potjiekos Day in support of Jo-Dolphin Swartland APD, an organisation doing wonderful work for children and adults with multiple disabilities. 🫶

Our very own residents, Carl and Ronel Coetzee, represented Darling Green Country Estate with their Durban lamb curry-inspired potjie, and it was a hit! With our staff and fellow residents there to support them, it made for a lekker day out with the Darling community.

The highlight? Our potjiekos sold out! A big thank you to everyone who came by for a taste and supported the cause. Well done, Carl and Ronel! 🌿

What a weekend! 🌸
Once again, the Darling Wildflower Show was a wonderful success, with thousands of people coming to town to enjoy the flowers, the atmosphere and everything that makes Darling so special.

We’re so lucky to call this beautiful little town home, and events like this remind us just how special our community is. 💚

A big thank you to everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes and to all those who played a part in making this year’s show such a success. It certainly takes a village!

Darling Wildflower Show is almost here!🪻And by looking at the flowers in Darling - we can believe it!

The 2026 Darling Wildflower Show is happening this weekend, 18-20 September, at Darling Sport Club, and there’s lots to look forward to.

Think beautiful flowers, local food, w**e, arts and crafts, vintage cars and tractors, live entertainment and plenty to keep the kids busy too. 🌼🍷🚜

There’s also a Friday evening Steakbraai if you’re looking for a good way to start the weekend!

🌻Darling Wildflower Show Entrance Fee:

🎟️ Adults: R120
🎟️ Pensioners: R75
🎟️ Children under 12: FREE when accompanied by an adult

🥩 Friday Steakbraai: R160 pp if bought by Thursday, or R180 pp on Friday. Tickets are available from the Darling Sport Club bar.

There’s just something about this time of year. The flowers are starting to pop up, the fields are changing colour, and Darling is looking more beautiful by the day.

A Weekend of Community at Darling Green Country Estate🏡

What a wonderful AGM weekend we had at Darling Green Country Estate! 🎉

The weekend kicked off on Friday, 28 August at Darling Cellars, where our HOA AGM got underway at 14:00. With beautiful cheese and meat boards and some local w**e to start the afternoon, it was the perfect setting to bring our homeowners together.🍷🧀

After the AGM, the afternoon continued with plenty of catching up and socialising before everyone headed over to Darling Sport Club for a good old-fashioned Steak Braai.🥩🔥

Saturday brought our annual Darling Green Country Estate Bowls Event at Darling Bowls Club. The competition was fierce, the spirits were high and, once again, our defending champion took back her throne! 🏆🎱

Most importantly, the weekend was about bringing our residents and staff together, spending time as a community and enjoying everything that makes Darling Green Country Estate feel like home.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the weekend so special. We can’t wait for the next one! 🥂
