Everyone is talking about Walden's upcoming fire station and public library. But there's another question worth asking:
What could this mean for Walden's real estate market? 🏡
Community amenities can play a role in how buyers evaluate a neighbourhood. A new library, permanent fire station and investment in local infrastructure are all developments worth paying attention to.
But does that automatically mean home prices will increase?
Not necessarily.
Property values depend on several factors, including buyer demand, housing supply, affordability and the broader Calgary market.
What interests me is how Walden will evolve over the coming years, and whether these investments will influence how buyers view the community.
Because when you're buying a home, you're not just buying a property. You're choosing a neighbourhood, too.
Would a new library and fire station make Walden more attractive to you as a homebuyer?
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
