🏡 **BUYERS: I'M STARTING TO SEE A CHANGE IN OUR MARKET!**

Let's be honest. There hasn't been much to choose from lately, and interest rates have made things challenging for buyers.

But I'm watching closely, and I'm beginning to see more listings come onto the market. That could mean more opportunities ahead!

At last week's RAYAC annual meeting, we heard from Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist for the National Association of REALTORS®. One thing that stood out to me was his appreciation for the relative stability of home prices in our area.

So, what should buyers do in today's market?

**Don't just look for a house. Look for the right opportunity.**

With interest rates expected to remain elevated for the foreseeable future, my focus is on helping my buyers make the most of the opportunities available today.

🏠 DON’T JUST WALK AWAY FROM YOUR HOME. KNOW YOUR OPTIONS.

If you owe more on your home than it’s worth because of health issues, job loss, divorce, major repairs, storm damage, or changing market conditions, you may have another option: a short sale.

A short sale allows your home to be sold for less than the mortgage balance with your lender’s approval.

Why explore it before foreclosure?

➡️ A foreclosure can have serious financial and credit consequences.
➡️ Depending on your circumstances, you may still have questions about a remaining debt.
➡️ A lender may agree to waive a deficiency—but get that agreement in writing.
