Just another perfectly normal weekend in Downtown Venice... playing mini golf in ridiculous outfits. 😂⛳

The Barstool Open was back recently, with mini golf holes set up around local bars and businesses, and obviously we couldn't resist getting the Ace Kissers back out there. IYKYK 🌴

This is what we love about living in Venice. There's ALWAYS something going on, and half the fun is discovering the wonderfully random events that pop up around town.

Did we win? Not exactly. Did we take the outfits far too seriously? Yup. Was it worth it? Absolutely.😂

Things are moving FAST at Esplanade at Wellen Park! 🌴🏡

They've now sold 70 homes, the first residents are officially closing and moving in, and the community is really starting to come to life.

We've been there from the very beginning (Josh even had THE the first closing in the community! 🙌), so it's pretty exciting watching it go from plans and empty homesites to an actual neighborhood.

It's ... as if we needed an excuse. 🌮😂

We could quite happily eat tacos every day, and luckily we're getting more little food trucks around Venice and Englewood serving up the GOOD stuff.

Give us proper street tacos and we're happy. and have always been favorites... but lately...
OMG. 🤤

Crispy, cheesy, packed with flavor and dipped into that gorgeous sauce. It's basically what would happen if a French Dip sandwich got a serious upgrade and became a taco. 😂

If you haven't tried them yet, you need to fix that.

Happy World Tourism Day! 🌎✈️

Living in Florida has definitely changed our travel bucket list.

We still LOVE getting on a plane and exploring somewhere completely new, but we've also realized that some pretty incredible adventures are sitting right here in our own state.

We've road-tripped across the Everglades, explored little beach towns, escaped to tropical islands, discovered state parks and springs... and somehow our Florida list keeps getting longer instead of shorter. 😂🌴

There's something pretty great about being able to wake up on a Saturday, throw a bag in the car and feel like you've gone on vacation without ever leaving Florida.

So for World Tourism Day, we want to know: **what's one Florida place everyone should experience at least once?**

One of our favorite parts of walking at Shamrock Park? You never know who you're going to meet. 😄✌️

We've bumped into this guy a few times now, cruising along on his tricycle with The Grateful Dead playing, singing along, and wearing ALL the tie-dye... right down to his sneakers. 🌈🎶

Naturally, as huge Grateful Dead fans ourselves, we love his style. 😂

He always stops to say hi to Hana, has a little chat with us, and carries on his way with a huge smile, wishing everyone he passes a wonderful day.

Here's to the characters you meet around your neighborhood who make an ordinary walk a whole lot more fun.
