Six 15-Minute Practices to Build Productivity All Week Long
By Zoe Eisenberg
RISMEDIA, Thursday, October 11, 2018— Productive people aren't necessarily born productive. More likely, they build habits and mindsets that allow them to succeed.

If this idea overwhelms you, consider the following practices that can be achieved in 15 minutes or less. Together, they take up only 90 minutes, and can easily be done on a Sunday morning with a cup of tea or coffee.

Create a task list. Take 15 minutes to purge all the things you need to take care of this week. Don't let yourself feel overwhelmed; instead, allow yourself to feel empowered knowing you are setting yourself up for success by identifying your to-dos.

Set small goals. In addition to your tasks, incorporate 1-2 small weekly goals you'd like to achieve, which may or may not be related to your tasks (for instance, 'sign a new client' or 'send five client touches').

Time-block your week. Now that you have your tasks and goals, spend 15 minutes blocking an hour or two each day to tackle certain tasks.

Schedule rest time. Just like you need to schedule work time to be productive, scheduling rest time will help prevent burnout and lead to heightened productivity. Take 15 minutes to pick three recharge activities to do during the week, whether it's game night with family, space to read your new novel on Sunday morning, or lunch with a friend.

Visualize success. Now that you have your week scheduled, take 15 minutes to close your eyes and visualize success. Imagine the end of your week, with all of your tasks done and your mind clear.

Quick-clean your office. It's hard to achieve productivity in a crowded, cluttered space! Take 15 minutes to go through your mail, toss out any trash and declutter items that may have moved around during the past week.

Average 30-Year Fixed Mortgage Nearing 5 Percent
By RISMedia Staff
RISMEDIA, Friday, October 12, 2018— The average 30-year, fixed mortgage is nearing 5 percent, leaping 19 basis points to 4.90 percent this week, according to Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey® (PMMS®)—the highest it's been in seven years.

The average 15-year, fixed mortgage, at the same time, jumped to 4.29 percent from 4.15 percent the prior week, and the five-year, Treasury-indexed hybrid adjustable mortgage rose to 4.07 percent, from 4.01 percent the prior week.

"Rising rates paired with high and escalating home prices is putting downward pressure on purchase demand," says Sam Khater, chief economist at Freddie Mac. "While the monthly payment remains affordable due to the still-low mortgage rate environment, the primary hurdle for many borrowers today is the down payment, and that is the reason home sales have decreased in many high-priced markets."

According to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), activity in August declined overall, but particularly out West, where there was an 11.3 percent dive in pending sales year-over-year.

in memory of a special person:
Certainly, in the most difficult moments of life, you realize who are your true friends and the people who really appreciate you. 😊 Unfortunately, most friendships will leave you but they will still send you a "like", but they don't really take time to read your status if they see it's long. More than half will stop reading here, or have already moved to the next entry in your feed.
I decided to publish this message in support of a very special person for me who fought to the end with firmness and energy. Who taught most of us to live every day as if it were the most beautiful day. Who has filled the world with a beautiful smile and a lesson ~ to have the courage to fight till the end!
Cancer is very invasive and destructive to the body, even after the end of treatment, the body is still struggling to reconstruct all damage caused by radiation. It's a very long process.
Please, in honor of a family member or a friend who died, or is still fighting cancer, or even had cancer, but is cured; copy and paste this text. I think a few of my friends will publish this, to show their support to their family/friend who may be fighting.
You just have to copy (not share) and paste. I would like to know with whom I can count to take a minute of your day and really read my state 😍 and then write "done" in the comments. Thank you!!!
